Gadsden County Day indicates the importance of meeting with legislators and working with them to solve some of the important issues facing Gadsden County. It sends a powerful message to the state capitol when citizens, community leaders and government officials come together to meet with legislators, both together and individually.

At the first annual Gadsden County Day, the county along with its municipalities demonstrated the collective voice of the community and the goals of bringing home state funding for important projects like economic development, infrastructure, tourism and the protection of our natural resources.

Hosting Gadsden County Day at the beginning of the legislative session keeps Gadsden County’s legislative priorities in front of lawmakers all session long.
