Gadsden County Tourist Development Grant Application Cycle Opens

Grant Cycle Opens June 14, 2021, through September 1, 2021

In its ongoing efforts of promoting tourism and financially supporting events that bring visitors to the area, the Gadsden County Tourist Development Council (TDC) opened the application process for its 2020-21 Tourist Development Grant on Monday, June 14, 2021.

Eligible events must occur between July 1, 2021, and September 30, 2021, and have the potential to – or history of – bringing visitors to the area who use local hotels or short-term lodging facilities in Gadsden County. Funding considerations also include:

  • A preference for events held during traditionally low occupancy periods.
  • The number of visitors.
  • The scope and duration of the event.

All grant applications are available online at gadsdencountyfl.gov and must be submitted via email to tdc@gadsdencountyfl.gov on or before the application due date, September 1, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Applicants can also request an application by calling 850.875.8671.

Applications are due on or before 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

The Tourist Development Council Grant Review Committee reviews and evaluates applications and submits recommendations to the TDC for approval.
