Gadsden County Public Works – Spring Bulky Item Pick-Up 2026
Keeping Our Community Clean!
The Gadsden County Public Works Department is pleased to announce its annual Spring Bulky Item Pick-Up service for residents in unincorporated areas. This free service helps residents dispose of large household items that cannot be collected with regular garbage.
🗓️ Collection Dates: March 30 – April 30, 2025
📍 Who Can Participate? Residents in unincorporated areas of Gadsden County.
Accepted Items
Residents may place the following items at the roadside for collection:
✅ Appliances – Washers, dryers, refrigerators, and freezers (must have compressors and Freon removed)
✅ Electronics – Televisions, microwaves
✅ Furniture – Couches, mattresses, chairs, tables
✅ Bathroom Fixtures – Sinks, toilets, cabinets
🚫 Items NOT Accepted: Tires, hazardous waste, construction debris, and yard waste.
Bulky Item Pick-Up Schedule
Bulky item collection will take place on a district-by-district basis.

| District Four | April 20 – April 23 |
| District Five | April 27 – April 30 |
Important Guidelines
✔️ Place items along the right-of-way of county-maintained roads before the first scheduled pick-up day in your district.
✔️ Items must be properly stacked and bundled for collection.
✔️ No hazardous materials or construction waste will be collected.
