As we reflect on the past, we also look forward to inspiring future generations through education, celebration, and community engagement. Commissioner Eric Hinson, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, shares, “February marks a special time when we come together as a community to celebrate Black history, honor the trailblazers of the past, and inspire future generations.” This year, we invite everyone to take part in a variety of events to acknowledge the profound influence of Black culture, heritage, and history.
