2025 YOUTH SUMMER JOB PROGRAM APPLICATION

GADSDEN COUNTY OPENS APPLICATIONS FOR 2025 YOUTH SUMMER JOB PROGRAM

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla- - The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners has opened the application process for the 2025 Summer Youth Job Program, providing local youth with meaningful, paid work experience.

The six-week program offers employment and on-the-job training for Gadsden County youth between the ages of 14 and 19. With support from local government and businesses, the program aims to help students prepare for future careers by developing real-world skills and workplace experience.

“The future of Gadsden County rests on connecting our young people with local businesses today so that they will be trained and prepared to be our workforce in the future,” said Diane Germany, Summer Youth Jobs Program Coordinator. “This program continues to expand opportunities for our future workforce. Over the last three years, we have worked to include more employers and job opportunities, and we will continue to ensure access to paid summer jobs for Gadsden County students.”

The program will run from Tuesday, June 10, 2025, through Tuesday, July 22, 2025. A mandatory orientation will occur from June 10–13, and a mandatory parent meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 9.
