2026 YOUTH SUMMER JOB PROGRAM APPLICATION 

 Summer Youth Employment Program to Serve 150 Local Teens

We’re putting 150 teens to work this summer through our annual Summer Youth Employment Program, designed to provide meaningful work experience and build essential career skills for young people in our community.

The program will run from June 9 through July 20, 2026, offering participants the opportunity to earn $15 per hour while gaining hands-on experience in real work environments.

Applications will open online on April 22, with a deadline to apply by May 4. Due to high demand—typically receiving around 300 applications each year—a lottery system will be used to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. Every applicant will have an equal opportunity to participate.

In addition to paid work experience, participants will receive weekly training focused on professional development, including communication skills, workplace professionalism, and customer service. These trainings are designed to prepare students for long-term success in the workforce.
