 Bid Document: ITB 24-07 Gadsden County Jail Fire Sprinkler System

The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting bids from experienced and qualified contractors to provide a Fire Sprinkler 5-year service and replacement of necessary components for compliance. This is a turn-key project, and the contractor will provide all necessary—provisions to complete the project, including cleanup, demo, and replacement of demo items.

All bids shall be submitted in duplicate (one original and three copies) in sealed envelopes/packages addressed to the Management Services Department and marked "B.I.D. No. 24-07; Fire Sprinkler 5-year service and replacement". Any bids received after the designated date will be returned unopened.

Bidders desiring copies of the bid document for use in preparing a bid proposal may obtain a set of such documents from the Procurement Office via email at procurement@gadsdencountyfl.gov or by contacting the Purchasing Division at 5-B E. Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida, 32351, Telephone (850) 875-7243.

Bid proposals will be received until 4 p.m. (EST) Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Gadsden County Management Services Department, Room 204, 5B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida 32351. They will be opened and read aloud on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 10 a.m. (EST) at the County Administrator’s Conference Room at 9B East Jefferson Street, Quincy, Florida 32351.

The County reserves the right to accept or reject all bids and waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. The County further reserves the right to award the agreement to that bidder whose bid best complies with the specifications. Bidders may withdraw their bid by notifying the County in writing at any time prior to the deadline for bid submittal. After the deadline, the bid will constitute an irrevocable offer for a period of sixty (60) days. Once opened, bids become a record of the County and will not be returned to the bidders. EEO/AA
