COMMISSIONER HOLT AND GADSDEN COUNTY HOUSING PROGRAM TO HOST FINANCIAL LITERACY CLINIC FOR DISTRICT 4 RESIDENTS
GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. – The Gadsden County Housing Program, in partnership with District 4 Commissioner Brenda Holt, will host a free Financial Literacy Clinic to empower residents with the knowledge needed to break generational curses and build lasting wealth. The clinic will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, at Centenary United Methodist Church, located at 206 N. Madison Street in Quincy.
This community-focused event will provide foundational financial education designed to help individuals and families make informed decisions about money, credit, and future planning.
Topics will include:
- Understanding Credit: How to manage accounts, the impact of late or missed payments, repossessions, and foreclosures
- Wills and Insurance: Guidance on living wills, trusts, Indexed Universal Life (IUL) insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, prepaid burial options, and fraud awareness
The event is open to all Gadsden County residents and aims to equip attendees with practical tools for financial independence and long-term security.
