GADSDEN COUNTY ANNOUNCES JUNETEENTH HOLIDAY CLOSURES AND SERVICE CHANGES
GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla—In observance of the Juneteenth holiday, Gadsden County government offices and certain services will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
The following offices and departments will be closed:
- Gadsden County government offices
- Gadsden County libraries
- Gadsden County Public Works
- Gadsden County Mosquito Control
- Gadsden County Animal Control
The following facilities will remain open:
- Gadsden County Parks
Animal-Related Emergencies:
Emergency animal services will be available during the holiday by calling the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office at 850-875-8811. Residents are urged to use this service only for:
- Dangerous or aggressive dogs
- Sick or injured domestic animals
- Animal cruelty
- Animal bites
