GADSDEN COUNTY ANNOUNCES MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY CLOSURES AND SERVICE CHANGES

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. — In observance of Memorial Day, Gadsden County government offices and certain services will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. The following departments and facilities will not be operating:

• Gadsden County Offices
• Gadsden County Libraries
• Gadsden County Public Works
• Gadsden County Mosquito Control
• Gadsden County Animal Control

Gadsden County Parks will remain open to the public throughout the holiday weekend.

Emergency Animal Services Available

Animal-related emergencies during the holiday closure should be reported to the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office at (850) 875-8811. This service is limited to the following situations:

• Dangerous or aggressive dogs
• Sick or injured domestic animals
• Animal cruelty
• Animal bites

For injured wildlife, residents are advised to contact the St. Francis Wildlife Association at (850) 627-4151.
